This painting was inspired by my experience of being laid off of my full time job. I learned to trust letting go of fear and to relax and enjoy every day even though for the first time in my life I had no set income and not much in savings. But the more I let go and more fun I had I found that things just worked out and money was just there when I needed. This has probably been my biggest life lesson because I now live with a lot more inner peace knowing that I will always be taken care of. Call it God, source, energy what ever you like but I trust that when I'm having fun life just has a way of working itself out!

This art was inspired when I was laid off of work in early 2010. The Eagle totem has a lot to do with coming into your power, figuring out finances and living the life of your dreams. So painting this brought me a lot of strength in a difficult situation. In looking back I'm very thankful for the layoff it has lend me to spread my wings and fly! I now have so much more time to devote to my art and hiking another passion of mine. This time has taught me a lot about faith and learning to let go of fears knowing all things work out for my greater good even when they look scary. I hope this piece inspires and uplifts you!

This painting was done on a day when I needed to let go of all out comes. I decided to paint what ever came to my mind and not over think it. I wanted to play as a child does. The hand was added with the words "Let go" being released. I had a lot of fun working on this piece it was very releasing and healing for me.
